NOT ALL ELECTRIC RADIATORS ARE THE SAME – this is a common misconception.

Most of our competitors are low cost to buy but have higher running costs.

Economy Radiator has measured and published its test results. Like anything in life you can pay a variety of prices for what appears to be the same product. When choosing an electric radiator you need to consider what it’s made of in order to get the great value.  We believe our product provides excellent value for money because it’s a high quality product with low running costs, here is why:

Quality heating element - a high performance material which allows rapid dissipation of heat to the aluminium body.

Italian aluminium body – Italian aluminium is the finest in the world and allows for rapid heat dissipation into the room. A lower grade aluminium will not perform to the same standard.

The heating element is physically cast on to the aluminium body of the Economy Radiators therefore it heats up much faster and uses less energy.

This provides a much better performance than using a heating medium such as an oil filled body.

These electric radiators should NOT be compared with oil filled radiators as they are worlds apart in terms of performance and efficiency.

Thermostat - Having a good thermostat is imperative. The Economy Radiators use the most accurate thermostat available with a micro-chip which "optimises" the consumption of electricity ensuring the electric radiator only consumes what it needs.

A poor thermostat will mean a room may over-heat or under-heat providing an unstable heated environment.

The key to successful low running costs for any heating system (whatever fuel it uses) is not to constantly switch the heaters on and off. Instead we recommend you drop the room temperature by 4 degrees (mathematically the best) and maintain a background temperature. Then increase the temperature when you want it warmer again.

Electronic Control panel – This allows for greater performance. The digital control panel allows you to programme the electric radiators for complete control on an hourly basis. This drives economy fuel consumption.

Energy is managed via a microchip which ‘optimises’ the consumption of electricity ensuring the radiator only consumes what it needs. At a given time when the room is at the desired temperature, the electric radiator may only pull a small percentage of its actual capacity and thus intelligently uses power.
